After 1.5 years of not blogging

Life has changed a lot... for the better of course! 😄
(I'd decided to talk about the things that are unchanged first)

But, there are certain things that are remain unchanged... too.

Husband
Still the one and only beloved husband. Our love to each other has never decreased in any sense, but the exact opposite. We still will never have enough time for each other, we still hug and kiss many times a day, we still could not really live without each other's presence more than 12hours.

Family
Our family number still remain the same - 2. Pippy the Shih Tzu is our family but not counted as human. We are longing to have children of our own, this has never changed for the 6 years that had passed. We have tried all the natural ways we know, yet, God still have a greater plan we believe.

Certainly, there are many times the thought crossed our mind..
"What will it be when we have our own child?"
"What will our baby look like?"
"Is my gene power stronger or hubby's (who will the baby looks like more)?"
"Will we be the type of parents that we wish to be?"
................
On top of all that, "When will God bless us a child?" occurs almost every time when we see the kids around us, reading friend's feed post on Facebook, and etc.

It can be quite depressing at times... when everyone else (seems like) enjoying life traveling different part of the world, climbing the corporate ladder, driving a good car and owning their dream house with their beautiful children. Solution to that, don't log in to FB when it's unnecessary.

God
The Heavenly Father is the same yesterday, today and also tomorrow. He has never forsaken us despite the many times we were drowned into the business of life and has taken His love and grace for granted countless times. His faithfulness, grace and mercy have brought through every ups and downs in our lives.

Now, let's talk about the changes...

Church
In the absence of my blogging days of 1.5 years, we have moved to another church.

No, we are not the kind of church hopper you are thinking about. It's just that it's really hard for us to connect to the people in the previous church although we were there for a good 2 years. Reason plainly simple, we are of different mentality and mindset that we had struggled to connect.

We visited a small church plant nearby our home on the first week of January 2016 and never even intend to visit another church ever since. It's the type of small and warm church that we are looking for that congruence very much with us. In just two more weeks we will mark our 1st year anniversary in this church. Time flies in no time.

Throughout the year, I have received some breakthrough myself. Something that has been bothering me for the past three years was torn down by God through a church conference that I'd attended in May. My life has gone ever better ever since. Breakthrough come after another. God is really good... all the time; to me, my husband and my family.

Work
This is the hardest part for me to talk about, definitely not something that I would proudly shout out for. Not because I don't love my current job, but simply because I don't have the glamorous resume to show anyone. Ever since I got married, I have changed numerous number of jobs. Again, I'm no job hopper. Just, couldn't really find what would suit me best.. until lately.

To cut the long story short (although it's already quite lengthy), I'm back to teaching (hmm.. tuition I mean). Not Secondary school Maths and Add Maths I used to teach 7 years ago, not kindergarten teacher as well.

A dear friend of mine asked me in July this year whether I could teach her English as the second language. I hesitated. English is not my mother tongue, nor my second language either if dialect is counted. I did not score well in my schooling days, I was playing a fool during English classes. I never took English seriously. Frankly speaking I was quite a lousy student in terms of my scoring in most of the subjects besides music and sports.

My English learning days got serious when I was taking my Degree in Marketing. Somehow, somewhat I had decided that I want to be someone that's good in English. Someone that's able to speak English fluently without anyone laughing while I am presenting my assignments. Most importantly, I accepted Christ into my life and started to attend English services in Church and reading the bible (too in English). That's when my English improved as though I had went to British Council for 5 years.

So, after much consideration if I am able to carry the task of teaching Adult English and carry it well... I took the challenge and that's how my tuition teaching days started again during the 3rd and 4th quarter this year. It's about five months now.  I do not know what God has for me for the next coming year, but I will keep on doing what He has placed in my hand now and do it well. Oh, I enjoy sharing my journey of my English learning with my students. Seeing them improve is the greatest reward for me every single time.

Pet
On 27/09/15, we brought home a little tiny shih tzu pup from a home breeder. She looks a lot like one of our rescued shih tzu that had passed away some years back. She was so tiny back then, she could fit into my palm when I carry her around.

She is most of the time lovely and sweet, and only tiny 5% of the time being picky on food and did some naughty things. Overall still the lovies every beat to us.

Entering 8...

Sudden Craving: Chinese Dumpling (Ba Zhang), especially the one made by my aunt.

Called my aunt, of course there's no dumpling left. Called my dad, none left at home too. Aunt said will try making it again, but that is impossible to quench my craving today (now).

So, googled where to get it in Cheras. Found one. Called, RM7.50 for one. Waze out the location.

Went to the kitchen, my breakfast - capsicum potato fried egg and chapati still lying in the wok.
Took out; add mayo, mustard, salt and pepper.
Ate.
Full. *burp*

Now maybe dumpling for next round when craving hits. :P

Mustard, Beef, Walk, Shopping, Game

Suddenly love mustard. Weird, I never really recognise and acknowledge it's taste till today.. now. Why didn't I come to realise how yummy it is?

Took a bit on the leftover BK Whopper Junior, oh gosh... this beef taste is so.... YUMM!!!

So, requested BK like again for late lunch (3pm++). In total I ate 1.5 Whopper Junior with cheesy fries and coke.

SATISFIED!

New discovery of the love towards mustard and beef.

As hubby wasn't working yday, suggested to go for a walk in the evening 6pm. We have not been walking out for quite awhile. Sat at the bus stop right outside our apartment, was windy.

Thirsty. Got home. Felt bored. Trying to think of what activity or game to do with hubby.

Went out to the mall nearby to find if there's any puzzle in Popular bookstore. End up looking at Monopoly.... then something else... then SPM Account session. Was thinking to get some exercise book to learn on Accounts, but all in BM. Give up.

Decided to save the money for the Monopoly game and just window shop at Daiso.

Got in, air cons too cold. Left.

Went down to the lower ground and saw some Puffs at RM1. Took the first one, then second... then hubby got his first choice, then second. So we paid RM4 for four puffs and happily eating it. The sambal ikan flavor is too yummy, and I got my third and hubby went for his McD ice cream. In total we spent RM6 for a joyful happy dinner meal. Feeling satisfied.

So eventually, no board game but end up walking in many shops and puffs. Came home I downloaded some hidden objects and guess the picture apps on my iPad. That's our game session.

Quite very random. Im amazed myself. LOL.

Hubby is happy that I have the desire to step out of the house. And praise God for who hubby is could accommodate to my randomness to the max.

Feeling really blessed.

Thank you, Lord

When Texas meet BK

Craving for fast food, fries... burger then Fried Chicken. Pity hubby has to drop by two places after work to get me Texas Chicken as well as BK burger.

Happily eating the first piece of thigh, still happy. Took second one and started biting, feels gross suddenly. All the sudden the smell of fried chicken disgusted me. Turn to the BK Whopper Junior, only gets to eat the half... but I completed the entire box of cheesy fries.

Feeling amazing lolz. Hubby especially. Taste could change all the sudden 180 degrees without any notice.

5th Year

We had just passed our 5th anniversary of our Registration of Marriage (R.O.M). Looking back, these five years have been really challengingly precious. I dont think we would ever imagine our marriage would be like this... sweet!

Our relationship has emerge to a different level where we have even more things to talk about, more laughter, more understanding and better partnership.  The time we have for one another will never be enough. We will never have enough time to each other. The level of understanding we have for one another have created so much fun.  It's pretty hard to describe those in words.

I love him more every single day... and could not live without him ever more.

We may not be living the ideal lifestyle and having the ideal career we wish for now, but going through it together hand in hand is the privilege God has given us.

Love God, because He has given me the perfect husband to grow old together.

The Hilltop Cafe

Was telling hubby about hoping to find a hilltop cafe the other day.  The type of cafe where you are able to just sit around... relaxing while having a good view. Most probably I would have a cup of coffee accompany me.  It's the feeling of running away from all reality again, he knows me... very well.

Last night, due to the space limitation the square table was push close to the window side. And all of a sudden, I found the hilltop cafe at no cost. =) Our apartment unit is on the 13th floor with the KLCC and city view, pretty much what I was asking for. *chuckles*

I don't have my cup of coffee with me now. I had mine this morning. Instead, I had the empty bowl of sour cream chips that was gone is 2 minutes with  me.  Not too bad I would say, still.

Thank God for the windy and cooling moment I have... to write again.

About blogging

Just realised, not many who used to blog before facebook exist are still blogging today.

So am I.

Guess facebook is the fastest tool to write down whatever you wanna say and lash out whatever you have in mind... and most of us rather to just write the few sentences instead of an-essay-sort-of-'status' lol.

I don't blog anymore too. Guess after having my bestest friend ever, my once great friend then boyfriend now beloved husband.. it's even harder to blog. Not because he stops me from blogging, never. Instead, he mentioned a couple of times that he loves to read my writing. Long and short. I don't quite agree though, there are many more great writers out there, and I don't get FB likes for whatever status I write much too. :P

And yeah, he never stops me... but it's all becos after having him in my life, I have spoken all I have in mind/heart/soul to him and there's nothing left to be written. Sound kinda funny I know, but that's the truth.

Checked back the history of my order blog Eva Sam, I blog the most in 2007. Didn't go through the entire thing but only December to 'recall' what I blog about for the total of 200++ posts in a year, college-life-work-yada added the number of 200++ posts. AND, there's no facebook back then. You have thoughts and ideas, you blog about it. To date, I only blog for business purposes. Sad right? I know.

I have been away from blogging about my life for so long, especially after getting married. It's way too difficult to continue where I have stopped... Else I will need to sit here entire month or more just to update what has happened for the past few years.

I will just give it a skip.

LOL

Alright, stomach is like roaring again... at odd hours. Ish, guess I will need to fill some rubbish in. Oh... God please do not let whatever I eat at this hour to be absorbed, PLEASE!!!!

To be the Godly husband and wife

A post that is posted by Godly Woman Daily really caught my attention today, something that I need to build myself stronger and become a better wife that God will be proud of. The title and points sort of made the 'tips' clear, but it will be good to go through when you have the free time. You can view the entire article by clicking here.

7 Secrets of a Good Christian Wife
① Pray for your husband.
② Speak clearly and directly to your husband.
③ Have your own support system.
④ Accept his relationship with his mom.
⑤ Be his partner.
⑥ Be an independent woman.
⑦ Accept him as a spiritual leader.

I went through the 7 points and immediately noticed there are areas that I need to work on. Not one, but almost 3/4 of it. Well, I am not perfect either... I have my areas to work on.

Just the other day the site were telling about the 5 Priorities of a Godly Husband, which I did not read on but passed to hubby (the iPad) and let him digest on it. Not that I don't bother, but it is better I don't know about it rather than me judging or comparing him to what the article is teaching. So it was my gesture of giving him space to grow rather than me pushing him (that's not the part I enjoy too).

My less-than-a-year business has occupied most of my time with the new addition to the family of our first ever pet - a beagle.  The busy-ness of life sort of sucked out the idea of praying, especially praying for my beloved husband.

As both the articles are linked in one way or another, guess it is time for both of us to look into the real intention of God when He put us husband and wife together. To honor, to love, to learn and grow into the man and woman He intended us to be.  To share and enjoy the love that God has been giving us and demonstrate on one another.  Destination would be to shower unconditional love on one another, but since we can never reach there due to our limitation and shortcoming... we can try our very best to reach the closet point to the point 'unconditional'.

Praise God for His wisdom that inspired the ministry in writing the articles, and now it's up to us to read up, pick up and practice it!

Thank You Jesus!

Hubby admitted - 2nd night

Hubby's condition is much much better today. He has super great appetite, went for 2 sessions of physio therapy that he fully enjoyed and besides a slight pain he's nerve is not pressed that much as compared to the days before he got admitted. Happy for him. =)

Seeing him gobbling one after another and almost eating every edible food around him, he's just like a small child that got all the permission in the world to eat whatever things that come into his way. Guess he will put on some weight when he's home... haha

As for me, eyes are not cooperating much today. Started swelling since the morning. Took pill but it did not subside like it used to. Took the second dosage when both my upper and lower eye lips were swollen. Was experiencing exhaustion that I have no idea of the reason - could it be the fact that I stayed up last night becos I could not sleep? Or becos there's something wrong with my physical body?

No Idea.

Nap on the sofa chair, with no back support. My back also starting to ache, actually since yesterday... One kind nurse helped me put on a patch when she's putting one for hubby. Felt much better, at least the muscle was relaxed a little.

Pray that I will be able to go through this period of time without worsening my health condition as my Saviour permits.

Dossy again, will sleep soon tonight. Although really hope to do some work but I know physically it's a red zone for myself.

Ok. will zzZzzZzzZz...

Thank God for another day

Finally got up. Text hubby while toileting. :P couldn't help it cos that's how much I miss him.

He's always there for me... all d time. But I'd taken his 'always here' for granted.

Now I know how it feels like to have a life without him, as short as a night. Not fun.

Alright, have a few things to do before I head to b w my darling.
1. Clean myself, get dress.
2. Clean up puppy's poo n feed him. Make sure he has sufficient water supply for d day.
3. Pack my work station hopefully can get to work a little so won't be too far behind.
4. To post office posting one customer's parcel while driving out.
5. Go thru d morning jam
6. Be with my darling.

Hopefully he will be able to be discharged today. The house without him is never complete.

Now it's d time to get all d errands started.

Have a great n blessed day.

A night without him

Darling is staying a night in hospital. Missing him badly...

Really... b.a.d.l.y.

Now I know how blessed I am to have him sleeping beside me the past daysss...

A night on the empty bed, is just weird.

Though not the first time, but I miss him especially tonight.

Enough!! I am strong because of Him

I think I'd never cry so much in my life before in a day.

It's been... almost the entire day.

A life shocking news, change my entire past around.

It's so overwhelming... and so hard to sink in.

Hubby tried his very best yesterday to accompany me.  Took Emergency Leave just to come back and be with me, preparing tissuessss for me while my tear dropped like water tap that runs out of control, cry with me.... he never left my sight. I thank God for him, thank God for who God is... and thank God for putting my precious husband in my life.

Woke up this morning, I thought of the whole situation.... It is not a dream, it is something that's actually happening... and I read of dear messages from my cousin sisters, and I started tearing again.

My eyes have been swollen since yesterday for the non stop 'flowing' for hours. As I woke hubby up for work, he told me from his angle to look at my right eye... it was as though both my eyes were closed. That's how bad it is... even right at this moment that Im typing, I still can feel the stiffness in my right eye especially.
Hubby 'giggles' at the dining table when I smile at him becos my right eye was so small and he could only see a thin black line.

At this point of time, I wanna be strong and be able to accept the fact. Enough of crying yesterday and today, God has mould me all these years to who I am today. There's no need of thinking otherwise and feeling sorry for myself anymore.

I am blessed to be in the family with so much of LOVE showered by everybody else... that I don't even deserved. I thank God for everybody in my family.. and I will claim that FOREVER.

And I am also thankful to my family in Christ who have been trying their best to message, whatsapp, call and ask about me. Could not afford to talk to anyone of them because my eyes were so painful from the crying.  But God is GOOD.... He knows what's best for me and I could not imagine how my life would be if I am NOT accepted in His Kingdom, it'll be a total miserable life left for me.

SO, Enough!! I AM who I am, the truth can not change the fact. And I am strong, because of His strength in me. Though I may not be emotionally stable to talk to anyone verbally yet, I am DETERMINED NOT to feel sorrow for this.

Thank you Lord, for Loving me. And thank You for the family that You'd given me.

Today is the worst day of my life....

Noticed I can't put this in my fb, I have to come back to the blog i'd abandoned for quite some time.

All these years, all that I live and believed... were a lie.
Although many times we rather know the truth, this is what I rather not even know about it even my last breath.

I have been hanging on for so long, why all the sudden everything is torn and collapse becos of you - T.r.u.t.h... you ARE so CRUEL!

This is so overwhelming and I cannot stop crying since I heard of this news this morning... my eyes are sore and painful but I still could not believe what I just heard.

I'm feeling really sad, and there's not much of freedom of speech in FB anymore.. I just need a place to write and release all the emotion in my heart.

P.A.I.N is all I feel...

Above All - Michael W. Smith

Another song that touched me today...

He's the Lord Above All.... above all... things

Verse 1:
Above all powers
Above all kings
Above all nature
And all created things
Above all wisdom
And all the ways of man
You were here
Before the world began

Verse 2:
Above all kingdoms
Above all thrones
Above all wonders
The world has ever known
Above all wealth
And treasures of the earth
There's no way to measure
What You're worth

Chorus:
Crucified
Laid behind the stone
You lived to die
Rejected and alone
Like a rose
Trampled on the ground
You took the fall
And thought of me
Above all

Loving the Lord evermore

It is because of the Lord's love, I am able to love.
It is because of the Lord's strength, I am able to wash two rounds of laundries and bake another round of muffins.
It is because of the Lord's wisdom, I am able to understand better the reason of Him calling us for His greater purpose on earth.

It is because of the Lord, I am who I am today.
And for the Lord's in my life, I have a future that's filled with hope, love, joy, peace and purpose.

Loving the Lord evermore, for He loves me more than I can ever imagine.

Love You, the Lord in my life.
Praise be Your name, Almighty God!

God is our shelter

Another nice cloudly morning. Thank you Lord for such a good weather that refreshes.

This gloomy sky color always put me in deep thoughts.

The rain started to pour heavily. Students in the school right next to us running from the field to get themselves covered. Lord, thank you for being our Shelter in protection. In times of trouble and circumstances, we have the privilege to run after Your arm for shelter. There is no need of running everywhere trying to see where to go... We just have to call upon Your name. In Your presence is where we find rest.

Thank you our Father in Heaven, who loves us so much! Thank you for Your rain that reminds of Your goodness. Give You praise, Almighty God...

A raining morning...

Thank u Father, for a lovely morning... The rain wash away our tiredness and burden of the days that had passed. Now we can have a fresh new start!

Hubby was joking if only he could just sleep in or stay home with the breeze and coziness. But we know, God has mission for us everyday... To care, bless, work hard, and glorify His name in our workplace- mission field.

I dragged myself out of bed though I was given the opportunity to- I have only noon class today and hubby could handle breakfast himself today. It was really tempting to just continue cuddle under the blanket and continue my dreams. I know, if I do I would have just wasted another great morning. So, I made myself out of bed.

Hubby was just going to start his breakfast. I joined in. Sipping the green tea he had poured for me and enjoy the lovely morning under the heavy down pour. It is lovely enough to just chilling... Thank God I was able to share this cozy morning with him before he head out.

Now that I am up, I can continue the photobook project that I started some days ago. Couldn't find any photobook software that fits the size, I'm doing it from scratch using publisher. Just like how I designed all our wedding materials before our wedding.

Praise God for the ability and patient to find backgrounds and start with blank pages. I'd completed 3 pages with hubby last night, 47 more pages to go. : ) it's gonna be challenging! God is good... Thank you Lord for a fresh start for a brand new week!!

Do not be proud

As I was ironing... The Lord says, "do not be proud, as I will Surely humble you; but when you humble yourself, I will make you proud. " Some words that was said was very disturbing to me, I could not put myself right. Feeling disgusted... By d immaturity. I love them deeply but hate d attitude sometimes. But I have to lift it high into God's hand, then I will be set free from it.

Lord, help me to forgive... For they do not know what they are doing n saying. May Your wisdom be poured into them that they may see Your kingdom beyond their pride. May Your holy spirit convict them of their words, n may them see what You see n love as You love. Amen!!

Modern Christian Housewife: Homemade Natural Cough Syrup

Found this from Modern Christian Housewife and feel that it's something really good to at least keep in mind for emergency use...

you can only choose to be one

Revelation 3:15-16 "I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot or cold. I wish that you were one or another! But since you are like lukewarm water, I will spit you out of my mouth!" I'd chose to be Hot for Jesus n always keep to His teaching. I will follow Him... Not what the world says. I don't wanna be spat out n end up in hell. Thus, I have to walk my life carefully... Thank you Lord for Your strong words... I will keep this in my heart...
