After 1.5 years of not blogging

Life has changed a lot... for the better of course! 😄
(I'd decided to talk about the things that are unchanged first)

But, there are certain things that are remain unchanged... too.

Husband
Still the one and only beloved husband. Our love to each other has never decreased in any sense, but the exact opposite. We still will never have enough time for each other, we still hug and kiss many times a day, we still could not really live without each other's presence more than 12hours.

Family
Our family number still remain the same - 2. Pippy the Shih Tzu is our family but not counted as human. We are longing to have children of our own, this has never changed for the 6 years that had passed. We have tried all the natural ways we know, yet, God still have a greater plan we believe.

Certainly, there are many times the thought crossed our mind..
"What will it be when we have our own child?"
"What will our baby look like?"
"Is my gene power stronger or hubby's (who will the baby looks like more)?"
"Will we be the type of parents that we wish to be?"
................
On top of all that, "When will God bless us a child?" occurs almost every time when we see the kids around us, reading friend's feed post on Facebook, and etc.

It can be quite depressing at times... when everyone else (seems like) enjoying life traveling different part of the world, climbing the corporate ladder, driving a good car and owning their dream house with their beautiful children. Solution to that, don't log in to FB when it's unnecessary.

God
The Heavenly Father is the same yesterday, today and also tomorrow. He has never forsaken us despite the many times we were drowned into the business of life and has taken His love and grace for granted countless times. His faithfulness, grace and mercy have brought through every ups and downs in our lives.

Now, let's talk about the changes...

Church
In the absence of my blogging days of 1.5 years, we have moved to another church.

No, we are not the kind of church hopper you are thinking about. It's just that it's really hard for us to connect to the people in the previous church although we were there for a good 2 years. Reason plainly simple, we are of different mentality and mindset that we had struggled to connect.

We visited a small church plant nearby our home on the first week of January 2016 and never even intend to visit another church ever since. It's the type of small and warm church that we are looking for that congruence very much with us. In just two more weeks we will mark our 1st year anniversary in this church. Time flies in no time.

Throughout the year, I have received some breakthrough myself. Something that has been bothering me for the past three years was torn down by God through a church conference that I'd attended in May. My life has gone ever better ever since. Breakthrough come after another. God is really good... all the time; to me, my husband and my family.

Work
This is the hardest part for me to talk about, definitely not something that I would proudly shout out for. Not because I don't love my current job, but simply because I don't have the glamorous resume to show anyone. Ever since I got married, I have changed numerous number of jobs. Again, I'm no job hopper. Just, couldn't really find what would suit me best.. until lately.

To cut the long story short (although it's already quite lengthy), I'm back to teaching (hmm.. tuition I mean). Not Secondary school Maths and Add Maths I used to teach 7 years ago, not kindergarten teacher as well.

A dear friend of mine asked me in July this year whether I could teach her English as the second language. I hesitated. English is not my mother tongue, nor my second language either if dialect is counted. I did not score well in my schooling days, I was playing a fool during English classes. I never took English seriously. Frankly speaking I was quite a lousy student in terms of my scoring in most of the subjects besides music and sports.

My English learning days got serious when I was taking my Degree in Marketing. Somehow, somewhat I had decided that I want to be someone that's good in English. Someone that's able to speak English fluently without anyone laughing while I am presenting my assignments. Most importantly, I accepted Christ into my life and started to attend English services in Church and reading the bible (too in English). That's when my English improved as though I had went to British Council for 5 years.

So, after much consideration if I am able to carry the task of teaching Adult English and carry it well... I took the challenge and that's how my tuition teaching days started again during the 3rd and 4th quarter this year. It's about five months now.  I do not know what God has for me for the next coming year, but I will keep on doing what He has placed in my hand now and do it well. Oh, I enjoy sharing my journey of my English learning with my students. Seeing them improve is the greatest reward for me every single time.

Pet
On 27/09/15, we brought home a little tiny shih tzu pup from a home breeder. She looks a lot like one of our rescued shih tzu that had passed away some years back. She was so tiny back then, she could fit into my palm when I carry her around.

She is most of the time lovely and sweet, and only tiny 5% of the time being picky on food and did some naughty things. Overall still the lovies every beat to us.
