Whom shall you turn to when you are down

Many times, people would fail you.
Many times, things are not as good what you want it to be.
Many times, you tend to feel upset when things go wrong.
Many times, you feel that you are left behind.
Some times, you feel that there's no one around you.
And you feel that no one would really care what's happening around you.

People seems to care for those whom they care only.
People seems to focus only on material things.
People tends to talk about the most 'in' thing that's happening.

WHY do we put our hope and courage on human being?
Human being has limited power, limited love, limited care, limited strength and limited wisdom.  We can only love so much, care so much, and know so much...

How much can they care where they have their own problems to care about?
How much can they love you where many of them have problem loving themselves or even their spouse?
How much can they help you where there are tons of things for them to do?
How much can they comfort you where they are not even feeling good on their own?
How much can we expect?

In the bible, God has clearly spoken about these issue many times - that we should only put our hope and expectation in God.  As He created the heaven and earth, and human being.

Psalm 33:4-20
v4. God's word is true, and everything He does is right.
v5. He loves what is right and fair; the LORD's love fills the earth.
v6. The sky was made at the LORD's command (Genesis 1:6-8) [Day 2].  By the breath from His mouth, He made all the stars (Genesis 1:16) [Day 4].
v7. He gathered the water of the sea into a heap.  He made the great ocean stay in its place (Genesis 1:9) [Day 3].
v8. All the earth should worship the LORD; the whole world should fear Him.
v9. He spoke, and it happened.  He commanded, and it appeared (Genesis 1:1-31).
v10. The LORD upsets the plans of nations; He ruins all their plans.
v11. But the LORD's plans will stand forever; His ideas will last from now on.
v12. Happy is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people He chose for His very own.
v13. The LORD looks down from heaven and sees every person.
v14. From His throne He watches all who live on earth.
v15. He made their hearts and understands everything they do.
v16. No king is saved by his great army.  No warrior escapes by his great strength.
v17. Horses can't bring victory' they can't save by their strength.
v18. But the LORD looks after those who fear Him, those who put their hope in His love.
v19. He saves them from death and spares their lives in times of hunger.
v20. So our hope is in the LORD.  He is our help, our shield to protect us.
v21. We rejoice in Him, because we trust His holy name.
So why do we still looking around and finding friends who could encourage us?  Our main source of hope, love, joy and peace comes from the LORD.  The maker of heaven and earth.

So, be courageous... knowing that no matter what, when and how, we still have JESUS with us.  He's living in our hearts so we are never alone.

Look to JESUS (first)... and don't find hope and expect comfort from man as we are all the same, imperfect.  You surely can talk to your friends, BUT, do not put expectation on them in giving up to your expectation. There's only so much we human can do, but GOD could do ALL things!
